I received a gift earlier this week.

From Meena Rose and Claudsy of the Two Voices, One Song blog.

No package, no bows, but a gift nevertheless.

An award!

The Inspiring Blogger Award.

So instead of my usual inspirational quote today, I'm just going to fulfill the requirements of the award, which simply involves posting the award graphic, listing a few (seven, to be exact) things about myself, and passing on the nomination to other (15, if you're counting) inspirational bloggers.

So without further ado....

7 Things About Me I Probably Could Have Kept To Myself

1) I could eat an entire box of Thin Mints in one sitting if I had no inner voice telling me better.
2) I grow hair on my big toes. I have to keep that mess in check during flip-flop season. Gross.
3) I think I may have inadvertantly eaten horse whilst in Kazakhstan.
4) I have wiped gooey green snot off the lip of my toddler with my bare hands.
5) I don't currently know where my iron is.
6) And I don't care.
7) I have cleaned the poop of 13 species of mammals, five species of birds, plus a few fish, crustaceans, reptiles and amphibians. And I've never even worked in a zoo.
