Mirth Monday: Glass Ceiling

Recently, I wanted to get some chickens.

I checked around locally, but the only thing I could find available was roosters.

That would not do.

So I picked up the phone and made some calls.

You'll never guess what I found...

Hens!

Binders full of hens!

  3. OMGOSH! That is too funny! Thanks for visiting our blog today. I poked around a bit and saw you have adopted three! Wow. Hubs and I have been trying to get preggers for 14 years. I got a little discouraged last year when we started the foster care program. The system here I think wants to keep kids in the 'system'. Maybe we will try again, but it's heart wrenching when we've already been through so much. I'll be back . . . Love your blog. :)

@Jen, wow, sorry for your trials. Hope you can find a way to become parents. I love all my kids so much, no matter how they came to me!
Thanks, everyone, for coming by today! Hope to see you back again soon!

  5. Haha this post is so funny! "Binders full of hens!" Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier... I am returning the favor and yours is so interesting and fun! It is really great that you've adopted kids... my mother-in-law did the same thing and it has worked out really well for the whole family. Following you now, feel free to follow mine too!
