Wordless Wednesday Becomes, For Today....

A shameless plea for votes.

Circle of Moms is running a contest for Top 25 Adoption Blogs and I'd really like to be counted in that top 25.

I currently hold a spot in the 30s, so I'm not that far off, but I need everyone who reads this to vote. If that happened, I'd shoot straight up in the charts.

Voting is pretty simple: Just click the Circle of Moms badge (below), then scroll down to my blog, then click on the thumbs-up button to vote. You can vote every day till 4/27.

I'd like to mention, too, that some of the blogs in this contest (and I have to say, it leaves me scratching my head a bit), are not pro-adoption, but anti-adoption. Needless to say, it makes me want to ensure that all the blogs that advocate for orphaned children to find loving homes are well-represented on this list.

So (cue dramatic music here), please vote for this blog. And maybe share this around on your favorite social media sites and ask a few friends to throw votes this way, as well. Let's make sure that adoption advocates are front and center in this contest. THANKS!!!!!

And let's not forget good old Top Mommy Blogs! I'm almost onto the first page!Just one click of this button (below) and you've voted. You can vote every day!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

And a very hearty thank you to all my new followers. AMAZING! I'm getting new followers EVERY DAY, which fits so nicely into my goal of world domination. Keep it up, people, keep it up!
Love to you all, kisses, kisses!

  1. I've tried several times to vote but each time I click on your link and then on the "vote" button by your name, nothing happens. Not sure why. Maybe my first one went through and it won't let me vote again.
Good luck with contest. I love reading your blog. I was a foster mother for 13 years and occasionally post about those years on my bloghttp://bagladysjournal.blogspot.com/ Fostering is so hard because you always have to say good-bye, but still so rewarding.

  2. Hi Karen, thanks for voting, and thanks for the feedback! I think that's my fault. Instead of saying click on the vote button, I should have said, click on the thumbs-up to vote. You should be able to vote every day (but not twice w/in a 24 hour period). I'm going to go change my wording in my post now. And then I'm off to check out your blog!

  3. I voted for a blogger friend of mine, but I found your blog from the list when I voted for her. I look forward to reading about your adventures.
